Pediatric Physical Therapy of Hawai’i provides family centered, therapeutic services for infants, toddlers and preschool children, from birth to age seven and their families. Families and caregivers frequently reach out for physical therapy services when a child has challenges being upright or moving their body to explore and play. Dr Kari is trained to evaluate gross motor performance, identify impairments, and based on current research and clinical expertise, collaborate with family to determine the most important goals and develop an individualized treatment plan to build a brighter future.

Dr Kari earned a BS in Communications and Minor in Business at Florida State University and a BS in Physical Therapy at Florida A&M University. She then spent her career working with adults and children in a variety of practice settings: Large Metro Acute Care Teaching Hospital, Outpatient Sports Medicine, Rural Outpatient Clinic, Schools and Home Care. After returning from living overseas and volunteering with the World Health Organization, Dr Kari returned to gain her Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in Pediatric Science.
